Tip for Ski-Pass

You can ski straight to the Zirbenwaldbahn from home and buy a ski pass there. So you don’t have to go to the village to buy a ski pass before you go skiing.

Bad Klein Kirchheim

Within half an hour’s drive from the house you can ski touring all day, without having to take the same lift in Bad Klein Kirchheim (103 km of slopes)

Swimming in Millstäter See

The lake at Turrcher Höhe is too cold for swimming in summer. If you want to swim in open water with a pleasant temperature Cell drive to the Millstätter See in 40 minutes by car. The Sittlinger beach pool in Döbriach is publicly accessible:

Golf

The nearest Golf-course can be found Bad Kleinkirchheim (18 holes), 25 minutes by car from the house.

Shopping in Alter Plats Klagenfurt

Fancy a day of shopping we recommend Klagenfurt. The shops can be found in the centre in beautiful buildings, there is a friendly atmosphere and it is not too crowded. A one-hour drive from the house gets you there!

Hiking in Turracher Höhe

Turracher Höhe is a real hiking area. If you feel like visiting special places with a mountain guide for once, book a guide.
